Horst Eidenmüller
Horst Eidenmüller held the Chair of Private Law, German, European, and International Business Law at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich until 2015. Since then, he has held the Chair of Commercial Law at the University of Oxford and has served as a Professorial Fellow at St Hugh’s College, Oxford. He founded the Munich Center for Dispute Resolution (MuCDR) and served as its director until 2019. In addition, he is a member of numerous expert committees in the fields of mediation and arbitration and has extensive experience as both mediator and arbitrator in national and international commercial disputes. Eidenmüller is the author and editor of several books on negotiation and commercial mediation.
Andreas Hacke
Andreas Hacke is a partner in the Düsseldorf office of Zwanzig Hacke Meilke & Partner, a visiting lecturer at the University of Oxford, and was co-director of the Munich Center for Dispute Resolution (MuCDR) until 2019. He regularly acts as mediator and arbitrator in national and international commercial disputes. Hacke is the author of the leading work on procedural agreements in out-of-court dispute resolution and co-author of several books on commercial mediation.
Martin Fries
Martin Fries holds a professorship in Civil Law, Civil Procedure, Legal Practice, and Legal Technology at BSP Business and Law School. His mediation practice focuses particularly on inheritance and commercial disputes. He serves on the advisory board of the Munich Center for Dispute Resolution at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Fries is the author of the leading work on the application of collaborative law in Germany. His recent publications include two books on inheritance mediation and legal entrepreneurship.
